Hydraulic adjustment of the fan for wood chips expulsion
It is the solution that is positively influencing the choice of buyers of medium / large chippers grappling with the demand for G50 size chips, maintaining high quality and limited percentage of dust. For these requirements, the unloading belt instead of the fan has always been the most suitable choice but at the expense of maneuverability in “difficult” construction sites.
The hydraulically driven chipping expulsion fan gives the operator the possibility of continuously varying the fan speed according to the actual work needs. In this way it is possible to select the maximum speed when you have to throw the chips away for example when filling a pivot from the bottom (longitudinally) and not from above (sideways) or when working green material, which tends to knead. On the other hand, when the material is clean and it is not necessary to throw away, the speed of the expulsion fan can be adjusted to a minimum, reducing consumption and producing a more beautiful, less fragmented and with less dust.
