DELIVERING FIREWOOD WITHOUT WASTE? DISCOVER THE PEZZOLATO RS11 SCREEN!
DISCOVER THE PEZZOLATO RS11 SCREEN!
Customers wishing to purchase quality firewood are less and less willing to receive material that is not thoroughly ‘cleaned’, i.e. containing flakes, splinters, bark and processing waste. To this end, Pezzolato offers its customers different types of firewood screens, from the simplest to the most complex, depending on the actual production requirements.
The RS11 disc screen for firewood can be installed as an ‘in-line’ element within an automatic system or operate independently, in a separate work station, where the dried wood is loaded with a mechanical shovel before delivery to the final customer.
It consists of an electro-welded structure, equipped with a sequence of 11 cleaning rollers of variable diameter (1050 mm width), driven by a 4 kW electric gear motor. The cleaning rollers advance the logs, which roll and bounce, quickly losing unwanted waste elements. The latter fall to the ground, or, optionally, can be collected by falling into a container or reach a storage point via a conveyor belt.
The basic unit of the RS11 sieve, consisting of the cleaning rollers, is totally self-contained and can be enhanced by integrating a number of optional elements. These include: loading hoppers, to facilitate the loading of the wood to be cleaned (three alternative models); discharge belts (two models available). It is also possible to choose whether or not to equip the machine with an inverter, to be able to independently vary the rotation speed of the rollers according to the type and quantity of wood to be processed.
