VARIABLE PASSAGE AUTOMATIC SCREENER FOR FIREWOOD

The variable-passage double-screw screener for firewood can be installed in various types of plants to automatically separate logs by size.
It can be positioned immediately after the splitting unit in plants processing mixed log bundles with uneven diameters, or after an automatic splitting station.
Regardless of the type of equipment, the new Pezzolato double-screw screener is an accessory that simplifies and speeds up the process of splitting logs by size, dividing those that are ready for storage “by fall” and transporting only the larger semi-processed logs, which require further processing.
The operator (who is often the sole person present) can thus gain valuable time to devote to other “non-automated” activities, thus increasing the productivity of the entire plant.
The dimensional parameters of the screener passage (i.e. the maximum diameter of the logs that can be considered ‘finished’) can be quickly adjusted by the operator in a few simple steps. The hydraulic screener is driven by a 4-kW electric motor.
