PEZZOLATO and GALLICI: A WINNING PARTNERSHIP!
Over the years, Gallici Srl of Ronchis (UD), in the North-East of Italy, has gained significant expertise in the wood processing sector.
The result of this experience gained in the field was the decision to purchase a top-of-the-range Pezzolato chipper: the PTH 1200/820 M, powered by a Volvo TAD1385 diesel engine, 6 cylinders, 13 litres, 551 Hp.
This machine is capable of uncompromisingly impressive productivity with logs and toppings, clippings and prunings, and sawmill trimmings.
The material feed is 1200 x 900 mm. The cutting system consists of an 820 cm diameter ‘Evolution’ drum with staggered 5-knife sections.
The unloading system is equipped with a hydraulically regulated fan, which allows less dust to be produced, reduces fuel consumption and optimises the loading of wood chips onto trucks, avoiding spreading material on the ground.
The ‘black box’ control unit also makes it possible to remotely monitor productivity data, to check for any alarms or anomalies, and above all to carry out real-time diagnosis by the technical assistance team.
