PEZZOLATO PTH 1400/1000 M Drum chipper driven by a 1050 Hp CAT C27 autonomous engine
The PTH 1400/1000 M are high-power industrial chippers, capable of transforming incredible volumes of woody biomass into homogeneous, high-quality wood chips.
With an output of more than 300 cubic metres per hour, they are suitable for use in large power plants, gasifiers and boilers and can be set up on trucks, trailers or tracks. Thanks to the 1000 mm diameter drum and the 1400 mm wide inlet mouth, these machines can process logs up to 800 mm in diameter.
In the video we show the Pezzolato PTH 1400/1000 M just delivered to the French customer Nature Bois Energie SARL, Pezzolato’s loyal customer for over a decade, which, over the years, has purchased increasingly powerful and high-performance chippers. For this machine, a configuration with a 1050 Hp CAT C27 autonomous engine was chosen, a solution capable of guaranteeing incredible power and productivity, while allowing good mobility between one construction site and another. This solution is ideal for working on a yard, however, the use of the fifth wheel allows the chipper to rotate and therefore be powered alternately from the right or left, in relation to construction site needs.
