It’s the solution, adopted by the Pezzolato, on drum chipper mod. PTH 1200\/1000 M delivered in France last week. It is a stationary machine mounted on a platform set up on SCANIA 4-axis trucks and driven by a CATERPILLAR C18, 18.1 liter, 6-cylinder, 800 hp power autonomous engine.<\/p>\n

The fan for the chips expulsion, mounted on the machine is hydraulic controlled, ie the speed and the power can be adjusted instantly in function of the chips quantity produced. This allows to avoid both the evacuation system’s clogging that an unnecessary excess of power reducing fuel consumption.<\/strong><\/p>\n
