When facing a chipping site, it is often necessary to get to places that are not easily accessible for heavy vehicles, to start work quickly, to have very flexible chipping and evacuation solutions, and to leave no logs on the ground at the end of the job.
ALLROAD, Pezzolato’s top of the range machine, is the self-propelled chipper that brilliantly deals with and solves all the challenges listed above thanks to its incredible agility (despite its 10-metre length and 32-tonne mass), the possibility of switching from travel to work configuration in just a few seconds, the powerful hydraulic fan capable of discharging the wood chips in front of, to the side and behind the vehicle, and the new conical screw splitter.
This is an accessory available from the beginning of 2025 for the Pezzolato ALLROAD, which is able to split even very large diameter logs quickly and effortlessly, making it possible to ‘chip’ sections of logs that otherwise could not be processed.
The log splitter uses the rotary movement of the conical screw, which progressively penetrates the wood, dividing it into smaller sections, exploiting the weight of the log itself. This system also makes it possible to reduce the energy consumption of the machine, which does not have to deal with diameters at the limit of its capacity, to work faster and to have greater chipping efficiency (avoiding potential obstructions).
