“EXTRA LARGE” machine but compact for transport
It’s very interesting the solution adopted for the drum chipper PTH 1200/1000 M delivered to the company MARTIN LEGNAMI Srl of Venice. This is an only 3.40 m in height machine in order to make easier to move it from one work site to another using common large trolleys.
The machine is driven by a 8-cylinder and 600 Hp of power SCANIA DC16 motor, it is mounted on tracks and turntable rotates 360 °. It can chip logs up to 700 mm in diameter and the ejection of the chips is done by rubber discharge belt.
Both the movement of the track and the chipper functions are handled by radio remote control.
