SUPER REDUCED consumption for SUPER DRUM CHIPPER
It is a PEZZOLATO drum chipper set on four axles MAN truck and equipped with EPSILON crane with cab. It is an unique machine because it combines qualities of great productive capacity with agility of movement, its characteristics, in fact, are typical of big drum chippers ” from square ” (drum 1400 mm in width capable of chip logs up to 1 m in diameter ), but its shape is ” forest ” ( the supply chain is positioned on the side ) and make it compact and suitable for working in little spaces. The production capacity up to 360 m3 per hour, equal to four semi-trailers full of wood chips and fuel consumption is extraordinarily low: in the first 300 hours of work, chopping logs and treetops , the average detected (of chipper and crane ) was 1.25 liters of diesel per ton of wood chips produced.
