CHIPPERS AND TURNKEY STATIONARY PLANTS
13 DIFFERENT ELECTRIC CHIPPERS FOR CUSTROMISED STATIONARY PLANTS
Companies wishing to equip their yard or factory with a chipping plant that guarantees high productivity and excellent value for money have a wide range of electrically driven Pezzolato stationary chippers at their disposal.
The 13 models that make up this group of machines range from the most compact ones with a 45 kW motor and an hourly output of up to 25 cubic metres of woody biomass, to large, electrically driven 500 kW chippers capable of chipping more than 200 cubic metres of wood chips per hour.
These industrial chippers share the distinctive traits of the italian manufacturer: solidity, reliability, ease of use, high production performance, high quality and uniformity of wood chips, and low maintenance costs, in order to ensure the durability of the machine and guarantee an excellent return on the industrial investment.
Designed to meet the specific technical requirements of production plants, these machines differ not only in size, power, drum type and number of knives, but also in the type of loading of the incoming material (manual or automatic).
The supply of stationary chippers allows Pezzolato to highlight not only its own characteristics as a machine supplier, but also the know-how gained in the design and implementation of customised ‘plug and play’ industrial solutions. The design and production department is, in fact, at the customer’s service for the configuration of the best plant solutions, integrating, for example, chain loaders and log loaders, vibrating tables and channels, rubber belts, metal detectors, and screens for the removal of contaminated or impure material in the feeding area. Additions for the evacuation of wood chips can be integrated: vane discharge conveyors, fans, rubber belts, screens for separating wood and many more.
Two of the most popular electric stationary chippers in their class are: the PTH 700 EM, with 110 kW motor, designed for feeding with a forestry grapple; the PTH 700.660 E, with 75 kW power, for unmanned feeding.

The video shows the pre-testing of a PTH 250 E chipper: the most compact model in the range of stationary machines produced by Pezzolato. It has a 45 kW electric drive, a maximum material passage of 370×250 mm and an hourly output of up to 25 cubic metres. Thanks to the closed drum with a diameter of 500 mm and equipped with 3 knives, this chipper produces high-quality material from all types of wood with low energy consumption. The clean cut guaranteed by the knives and the high inertia of the drum reduce motor stress and strain, confirming the recognised production capacity and robustness of Pezzolato drum chippers.
