SIMPLIFY WORK ON YOUR CHIPPER’S HYDRAULIC FAN
The expulsion system is one of the key elements in obtaining high-quality wood chips with homogenous grain size, independently of the type of wood biomass being processed.
In Pezzolato chippers dedicated to industrial production, the hydraulic fan drive has been fitted as standard for years, which allows the speed to be adjusted dynamically. With dry material, it is possible to work at low speeds, reducing consumption and the dust generated during processing. With humid material, such as that produced by green maintenance operations, the speed can be increased, keeping the evacuation of the wood chips easy and avoiding obstructions.
Since 2025, Pezzolato industrial chippers have been equipped with a new access system for the hydraulic fan, which makes routine and extraordinary maintenance operations impressively easy. In the new version, the frame containing the moving parts is equipped with a large door, which is secured by three locking points with captive screws and nuts.
When the operator needs to work on the ventilation system, he opens the door in just a few seconds and immediately has visibility and easy access to both the rotating vanes and the wood chip evacuation chute.
