Whatever wood the best chips…. This is worth also for New Zealand!
Thanks to an excellent local importer, after the start-up of many fire-wood installations, Pezzolato is now supplying the first chipper.
This chipper, with customized colors, will be certainly noticed! Driven by an IVECO 510 Hp engine (Old all backs sponsor), the chipper is mounted on the semi-trailer of the customer.
The operator from the crane cabin, which is also driven by the chipper’s motor, manages all chipper’s controls, including the expulsion fan speed, which is hydraulic and thus can be varied in continuum.
The four-knife drum has a 820 mm diameter and was planned in order to guarantee the best chips quality from any type of log or wood waste.
