TB – SPLITTING UNIT is equipped with an automatic vertical splitting system, able to process any type of logs, with a diameter range varying from 300 to 1200 mm (from 11.81” to 3′ 11.24”) and a maximum heigth of 500 mm (19.68”). Diameters under 300 mm (11.81”) are allowed for kindling production, according to the length, that could reach a minimum of 50 mm (1.97”).

This unit conceived to process large diameter logs has an adjustable pitch feeding and is driven by an electric motor 18,5 kW (TB 600) or 22 kW (TB 900) or 30 kW (TB 1200); the splitting power can be 30 ton (TB 600) or 40 ton (TB 900) or 50 ton (TB 1200).

The feeding chain is strong thanks to its closed links and has a length of 1600 mm (5′ 2.99”), it could be longer on demand.

By means of this chain, the cut logs pass through the action of the splitting wedge.

The dimensions of the output wood can be set electronically, the minimal splitting measure is 20 x 20 mm (0.79” x 0.79”) for kindling.

TB 900 machine on average produces 18/20 bulk cubic meters (5,04/5,6 bulk cords) per hour of cut logs 250 mm (9.84”) height with splitting size 90 x 90 mm (3.54” x 3.54”).

CONTROL PULPIT ON RAISED PLATFORM
