PEZZOLATO ALL ROAD: THE SOLUTIONS THAT MAKE IT EXTRAORDINARY
Pezzolato’s ALL ROAD fully embodies performance, dynamism and reliability, the typical characteristics that distinguish best sellers in any sector.
These self-propelled chippers, characterised by elegant and massive lines, have been designed and configured to face any challenge, even in the most extreme working conditions.
Two engines available: VOLVO PENTA TWD 1683 engine, 6 cylinders, 16 litres, 585 kW, 796 hp, 3650 Nm and CATERPILLAR C18 engine, 6 cylinders, 18 litres, 563kW, 755 hp, 3504 Nm (which does not require AdBlue).
Don’t miss the opportunity to see the ALL ROAD in action in the upcoming exhibitions taking place in Italy at ALPIN FOREST on 4th and 5th May, in Germany at KWF from 19th to 22nd June, in Spain at GALIFOREST ABANCA from 27th to 29th June and then again in Italy at DIMAF, then in Belgium at Demoforest and last but not least in England at APF.
In the video some footage shows the ALL ROAD owned by Énergie Forestière in France. The machine works in the Sologne region and produces high-quality wood chips for power plants in the Centre-Valley of Loire region.
In the ALL ROAD’s development, Pezzolato adopted technical solutions to enhance the robustness, reliability and lifetime of the machine, thus maximising productivity and minimising time spent on routine maintenance.
The hydraulic wood chip expulsion system of the machine, for example, allows continuous speed variation, adjusting the rpm to actual needs, reducing energy consumption and avoiding the dust production. The speed, set by the operator, is kept constant by the system even if the main engine speed changes.
In the video you can see how the hydraulic fan opening system works, providing easy access for cleaning and routine maintenance. In less than a minute and without any effort, the operator performs the procedure, bringing the fan to a position outside the body of the vehicle.
The wear parts of the fan and discharge conveyor can be made with wear plates consisting of a normal steel base and carbide coatings (CDP – Castodur Diamond Plates). CDP is currently the best solution on the market for anti-wear applications when working with wood materials.
